DISCIPLESHIP

God is the examiner of our hearts and when our hearts are aligned to Him, our behaviour will change naturally. We don’t want to look like great Christians with perfect behaviour or expect that from others. We want to be real followers of Jesus, even in our weakness, that reflect Him in everything.

SERVICE

To serve is a lifestyle, not an activity or something to fit into the boxes of our schedules. We serve because it reflects the character of Jesus, not for our own status. We always have more time and opportunities to bless others and we can do this by having open eyes and awareness to see the need around us.

QUALITY TIME

With a strong Latin influence, we are big advocates of “sobre mesa”, quality time spent around the table. While we are servants of God with a lot to “do” for the Kingdom, we are also Children of God called to enjoy life. Many times that looks like having a cuppa or sharing mate (Argentine tea) with others.

FAMILY

God designed the family structure to be a place where identity, wholeness, confidence, and love are established. We believe that God has called us to be a reflection of this structure, to walk under the covering of spiritual parents, and to be healed and restored to wholeness with the Father.

WE ARE...

We are a branch of the larger YWAM Urban Key and for the last ten years now, we have called Harlesden, London home. We live in two side-by-side properties where we do most things- have classes, give away donated food, explore our creativity, plan for ministries, make meals, host guests, watch movies, and everything in between.

Though we’ve been in Harlesden for some time, our roots go all the way back to Argentina, where our leaders and their family were based for many years. They were called by the Lord to come to England and we couldn’t be more thankful to be following them!

Each YWAM base carries something different- a special flare and unique DNA. As you’ve heard at this point, our specialty is family. Here at Urban Key London Harlesden, you can spend your morning devotions with Jesus, a hot cup of coffee, and our dog Simba by your side. You can enjoy special occasions with Argentinian asados (barbecues), afternoon English teas with home-made pastries, Swiss raclette, and the tastes of many more cultures. While we love building community together, we are also passionate about what God is doing in and around London and all the ways we can be involved!

Joselo and Gaby came from Argentina with their 3 daughters 15 years ago! They followed God's call to be missionaries in England and have been serving God and others as a family for many years. They are leaders, shepherds, parents, friends and even more here at Urban Key Harlesden but also nationally in YWAM England and beyond.
